I. General Requirements
Each passenger is only allowed to bring one dog or cat into the country at a time. You will need to provide customs with a valid quarantine certificate and rabies vaccination certificate issued by the official animal quarantine agency of the exporting country or region, and have your pet implanted with a valid electronic chip.
II. Necessary Procedures
Within 14 days prior to arrival, your pet must undergo a clinical animal health check by the official agency of the exporting country or region to ensure that it is not infected with any animal infectious diseases and parasitic diseases listed in the "Catalog of Animal Quarantine Diseases for Import into the People's Republic of China", including rabies.
At the port of entry, you will need to fill out the "Information Registration Form for Pets (Dogs and Cats) Carrying into the Country" and undergo a clinical examination on site.
III. Non-Quarantine Situations
Coming from designated countries or regions and having a valid electronic chip. Designated countries include: New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Polynesia, Hawaii, Guam, Jamaica, Iceland, United Kingdom, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Cyprus, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and Macao, China.
Although from non-designated countries or regions, but with a valid electronic chip, and provide a rabies antibody test report from a trusted laboratory (antibody titer or immune antibody level must be above 0.5IU/ml).

Currently, all ports of entry in Jilin Province are not equipped with quarantine facilities. This means that if you are carrying pets into Jilin, you will need to choose another port of entry with quarantine facilities, and transport your pet to Jilin on your own after entering the country.
If you need to quarantine your pet for 30 days at the port of entry, or if you are unsure if your pet needs quarantine, it is recommended that you enter the country from Beijing Capital Airport, Beijing West Station, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Shanghai Railway Station, Shanghai International Passenger Terminal, Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal, Urumqi Diwopu International Airport, or Alataw Pass.
